Access the Call Log function under the Borrower Services tab when you want to add or review entries to the Call Log. The Call Log is a permanent record of the activity taken on an account. It can be used to note action taken on a borrower’s account. Some examples of entries to include in the Call Log are: comments, phone call tracking, and notices like bankruptcy filings.
Note: Call Log entries are permanent messages. They cannot be edited or deleted.
The Call Log screen displays up to ten entries at a time in descending date order. Each entry is represented by the date and time, as well as the beginning portion of the entry's text. Click on the Magnifying Glass icon to the left of the entry to review the entire text of the message.
Click on the Add icon to add a new Call Log entry for the borrower. When you click on the Add icon, a new window is opened in which you can enter the call information. Enter the appropriate information regarding the call, and click on the Save icon to save the information. The Call Log List will be updated to reflect the new entry.
Click on the Reset icon to restore the data entry form to its initial (blank) state. Any data that was entered in the form will be erased from the display.
To exit this process without saving the call log entry, simply close the pop-up data entry window.
Use the Call Log Filters to narrow down the list of call
entries to view, or to identify a specific call entry.
When you select the List by exact date filter, you can enter the specific date for which you wish to view the call entries. After entering a valid date value, click the List Calls button to initiate the search. Any matching call log entries will then be listed.
When you select the List by date range filter, you can select a date range for which you wish to view the call entries. After entering a valid date range, click the List Calls button to initiate the search. Any matching call log entries will then be listed.
When you select the List by User ID filter, you can select only those entries made by a specific user. After selecting an ID, the most recent call log entries that were recorded by that user will be displayed.
This is the default filter and is displayed when you first access the Call
Log function.
