Introduction

This Release Guide documents the Release 3.5.0 of the Campus Receivables Collector (CRC) system. The release 3.5.0 includes enhancements and problem resolutions.

New and Updated Features

Campus Receivables Collector

Administration

o    Customer Accounts

§  Accounting Transaction Details Browse:  display is now scrollable with fixed header; rows are sortable by column header.

§  Accounting Transaction Details View Loan:  added campus account # and description; rows are sortable by column header.

§  Reverse Payments (NSF):  default NSF Fee to Yes when NSF fee amount in payment parameters > 0; display NSF Fee amount.

o    Processes

§  Pending Processed Refunds:  rows are sortable by column header; added customer address.

o    System Tables

§  Accounting Feed Definitions:  removed GO button - selected campus/loan will automatically load; rows are sortable by column header; display "Original Balance" in place of "Borrowed", "Current Balance" in place of "Balance” and remove the word "Principal".

§  Collection Queues:  when editing queue, amount of collection fee did not display when method was %.

§  Collection Queues View contents:  index was out of range when only one loan in queue.

Customer Accounts

§  Accounts

o    added option to run Customer Account and History Detail report.

o    Loan/Receivables Grid:  added columns to display payoff and due today less collection fees.

§  Correspondence

o    Mail:  Replace <PAYAMT TOTAL> replaceable tag with sum of installment amount on loans in Q, R or S status.

o    Mail:  modify statement sections within all mail to display "Original Balance" in place of "Borrowed", "Current Balance" in place of "Balance” and remove the word "Principal".

§  Personal

o    Addresses:  display deleted addresses and indicate as such.

o    Email Addresses: added ability to store multiple email addresses.

o    Phone Numbers:  added ability to store multiple phone numbers.

§  Processes > Exit:  loan status R instead of G (bug-problem was in comparing repay begins to today)

§  Banner AR:  added TBRACCD transaction number and transaction number paid to display; rows are sortable by column header; added tabs for Banner addresses, phone numbers, email addresses with option to copy that info into CRC.

·         Banner Reports > Banner A/R Outstanding Debt > Single Customer ID > Find: added tabs for Banner addresses, phone numbers, email addresses.

·         Customer Reports > Customer and Account History Detail:  modified format, added more detail to make report more readable.

·         Financial > Payments by Batch:  modified format, added more detail to make report more readable.

Import

·         Import

o    Banner Accounts Receivable > Single Customer ID > Find: added tabs for Banner addresses, phone numbers, email addresses.

o    Payments: added “Include Status” to control status of loans to which payment is applied.

·         Apply

o    Payments: when manually creating a batch, added “Include Status” to control status of loans to which payment is applied; added sort and filter capability to columns; batch name is hyperlink that will run Payments by Batch report; added applied to queue, applied as net/gross, applied to only loans in file, applied to status columns; added customer name to view option; increased record limit from 4 to 8 in manual processing and added customer name and agency-related columns;  record ID is now hyperlink that will allow manual allocation.

Upgrade Paths

This information is for people who have been using a previous version of Campus Receivables Collector. If Campus Receivables Collector 3.4.0 is currently installed on your system, you can upgrade to 3.5.0

If a version other than Campus Receivables Collector 3.4.0 is currently installed on your system, you must first upgrade to 3.4.0 before you can upgrade to 3.5.0.

It's showing 0 due and printing an incorrect, the next system due date as of today.  2 - Benefit Mail not including all accounts with the selected due date: When exiting a loan CRC sets the due date to a timestamp, in this case 09/15/2017 16:30:40, for example. When benefit mail runs it compares the due date you're running with, in this case, 9/15/2017, to the due date on the loan, 09/15/2017 16:30:40, to see if the loan is due for anything. Those 2 dates don't match by virtue of the timestamp so benefit mail doesn't see it as due and won't calculate an amount due or generate the corresponding PINT.
